Quick Start Guide

This guide walks you through the essentials: creating your workspace, connecting your property management system, and using the AI Copilot to get your first insight.

  1. Navigate to app.rentametrix.com and click Get Started.
  2. Sign up with your email or SSO provider.
  3. Create a new Workspace and give it a name (e.g., your company or portfolio name).
  4. Invite team members by email — you can manage roles and permissions later from Settings > Team.

Rentametrix pulls leasing, occupancy, and financial data directly from your property management system (PMS).

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations.
  2. Select your PMS provider:
    • Entrata
    • RealPage
    • Yardi
    • AppFolio
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to authenticate. You will typically need:
    • API credentials or an admin-level login
    • The list of properties you want to sync
  4. Click Connect and wait for the initial sync to complete.

Once your data is connected, open the Copilot from the left sidebar.

Try asking something like:

What is the average effective rent for 2-bedroom units across my portfolio?

Or:

How does my leasing pace compare to last year at this time?

Copilot uses your connected data — combined with Rentametrix’s market intelligence corpus — to generate answers with clear source attribution.

When Copilot returns a table, chart, or metric you want to keep, click the Pin icon to save it to a Dashboard.

  1. In the Copilot response, click Pin to Dashboard.
  2. Choose an existing dashboard or create a new one.
  3. Navigate to Dashboards in the sidebar to view and arrange your pinned insights.

Dashboards update automatically as new data flows in from your connected sources.
